Ahmad Zamroni is Documentary, Editorial, Portrait Photographer & Videographer in Indonesia. He began his career as a photojournalist in 2002 at Kompas Cyber Media before joining the Agence France-Presse (AFP). During the years working as a photojournalist, Zamroni, or Roni, who holds a Bachelor degree from the Faculty of Geography in Gadjah Mada University, has participated in a number of photo exhibitions in Singapore and Malaysia. In 2011 some of his works were presented at the exhibition “Through Asian Eyes” by Nikon Asia. Roni was also a mentor in photography workshops during “10th Nikon Malaysia Anniversary” in Malaysia.
In 2013, Roni co-founded 1000kata.com and a photo agency Hati Kecil Visuals, both headquartered in Jakarta. In 2014, along with three of his friends, he published a photo book ‘NESW’ and in 2015, with nine photographers, he published a photo book “#iniNegriku A VISUAL JOURNEY”. Currently he works as photo editor at Forbes Indonesia magazine
